D*mn, Tim! I agree with you that it sounds like he intended to cheat you from the get go. That's a pitiful way to do business, to wait until you have the merchandise and then "negotiate " how much you will pay if anything! I would definitely file a claim with his credit card issuer.
Sorry this happened to you.

Ted

Hi Tfp. That's shady for sure. I hope you get this settled.

I just put a notice on pnwmas.org.

I hate shady people.

Best,
Ilham

here it is....it will probably be deleted again. I think he is a mod on that site?

Best,
Ilham

NO, they would rather not have a rash of non locals joining their club site to stir up trouble. Please be respectful of other on line communities.
Thank you.

Elmo I hope you get your answer but I doubt you will hear from him.

I hope the mods DO NOT DELETE that post as a nice little reminder of what he has done.

Sorry it happened to Tfp but if it never happens again maybe 'somehow' it was worth it.

Hi again.

Thank you Mike. Sorry if there was hostility in there. I just wanted to help out "tfp", and get some clarifications.

guys, its ok. i'm leaving the verdict up to the credit card company. its a lesson learned for me to trust my first instincts.

i'm not wasting my time pursuing him in any way, shape or form. in fact, i had nothing to do with him getting banned here on RC. i would have liked him to reply in this thread publicly but he chose not to.

btw brandon, if you are reading this...it was a credit card company rep that told me that emails could be falsified and thats what i relayed to you.

I guess you got to have a loser every now and then to make you appreciate everyone else. At least he got banned from here. Sorry to hear about your annoying experience. Hope it all works out for you.

I'm sure many have had good transactions w/ Brandon. However, it's in times that things don't go exactly as planned that a person shows thier true colors................

I would like to apologize to everyone here from PNWMAS members and I hope that this doesn't reflect poorly on the rest of us in Portland. Brandon is a horse's hind end. I hope it all works out in your favor.

Believe me, his lack of response about this tells just how in the wrong he is. He argues most points into the dirt if he feels he has been wronged. In this case, if he was in the right, he would be sounding off here like there was no tomorrow. He SCREWED you, and in a way all sellers here.

Lowman- All is can say is Wow. A kid like Brandon would definitely fight if he was in the right. The fact that he set up a new user name and email for that user name says a lot about a mans character, or lack of it. There is always a chance that each and everyone one of us here on RC take when trading with each other. I am just glad that I am joined by so many in being repulsed by this transaction.

Tim is a great guy and a great resource to the reefing hobby. Thanks Tim.
