Ok how about we narrow it down to 2 different days Sunday July 29th or Saturday August 4th. Please the more responces we get the faster we can come up with a date.

I second the 29th but in the event of everyone choosing the 4th I am ok with that too.

Sundays don't really work for me for family reasons. Don't let that influence the date you go with though, I'll just catch the next one.

Both dates work for me, I really want to attend!!! I have tons of zoo frags available and some SPS.

Could someone explain to me how the swap works, do we post pictures of what we are going to be bringing before hand so people can see what they are getting, I am assuming that the corals will be closed up during the swap. Then do we just bring them in labeled bags in a cooler or something??? We could also use my house for the swap if you want, I live right next to the U of A.

If people could post pics of things that they are going to sell I think it would be good, as it seems to help in the past. Most the zoos and softies are closed/shrunk when they get to the auction so post pics. If you have colorful LPS/SPS post pics as normal lights don't display colors well. Hopefully someone will voluteer their house in Tucson, I would say we should do it at mine, but its about the size of a matchbox, lol.

I can try to make the 4th, I have some kenya trees and maybe some zoos if I figure out how to frag them.

Sweet, the more people the better, hopefully lots of people will be able to shirk whatever responsibilities they have for the day and buy some cool new coral.

Just a quick question Kentanner......Why would you want to buy coral if you dont have a SW setup yet?

Just curious

Cause I am sooo close, and want to put it in Quarantine. so when my tank is absolutley finished I can pop them into my DT, and out of quarantine.

I probably wouldnt buy anything though, depends on how fast I get this tank up.

Southwest Saltwater has generously offered to give 35% off of livestock and 15% off of dry goods for anyone who buys/sells/hosts the frag swap.

Awesome, Thanks Rob!!!

If we are still looking for location, my house is available. It is centrally located in Tucson, next to U of A, and there is a market next door that sells pizza slices, sandwiches, soda and beer, so people could just walk over and grab something if they get hungry or thirsty. Plenty of parking also. It sounds like Aug 4th in the afternoon is going to be the day that works out best for everyone. Lets start posting some pics of what is going to be available!!!

If anyone has any objections to having the swap at EL's post so we solidify the location. Otherwise it sounds like it would be a good place to have the swap.
