WTB - Scuba Tanks

I'd like to start doing some local diving.

Any leads on good condition used tanks? I need 4-6.

Thanks much.

Justin

hey I just did 3 dives out in montauk today. saw a HUGE striped bass, conger eels bigger than me, eel cusk, eel pout, triggerfish, a shark, lobsters, tons of anemones and coral and so much more. it was a great dive with over 30ft visibility.

but sorry I don't have any tanks for sale.

It was on sea turtle charters, we dove the Grecian, Pinnacle, and Lightburn. saw the most stuff at the Grecian but dam it was cold down there.
Yea it was some kind of sandshark, but a pretty big one.

I'll be hitting that boat at least once more this year maybe i could meet you there.

I do have a steel 72 that I'd sell. it just passed hydro a couple months ago. but its not hp so not sure if you'd use it unless you plan on doing shore diving.

I'm not going to be around this weekend, but the following weekend should be good if you like. Duck Pond Point is a pretty easy beach dive, lots of rocks and red sea weed that has all the cunners rusty to bright red in color

How late in the season do you guys go diving? If you guys have room I'll go late in the year, plus I have a dry suit i wanna use more.

ghcpa9,

I only have a wetsuit, so it depends on how fast the water cools off. Usually I'll go diving up to Thanksgiving, some years up to Christmas.

Tom,

I just realized I've also got plans for that first weekend in October. You up for a night dive during the week sometime?
