Scored these sweet looking plays today

i got these nice looking plays today about 40 polyps on this rock for $25 first two are with the flash and the 2nd two are without flash

very nice, one of my favorites.. i got a nice sized rock for 40 bucks... 2 days later. pods ate most of them, now i'm down to a few polyps :P

Very nice find and the more that you blast with them light, MH or T5, the outer ring will get very pink and will expand towards the mouth. Very nice find!

thanks geo..told you i was going to go out and see what i could find..i got mhs on that tank so once acclimated i will be moving them up to higher light...they have a few more rocks of these so i am going to go back and get some more i really like the palys alot!!!!

i also scored this little frag of red zoas for $5 that has some nice potential..the polyps are just starting to open up and another shot of the green center palys with all the polyps open..i am loving those the more i look at them..the really pop in the tank

i went back today and got this nice rock for $10 they told me it been in there for a long time ..got some sweet green and blues mixed in as well

got a better pic of the red zoas with all the polyps open..alot more than i thought were on there...also do you think i need to put those in higher light once there acclimated??

Great finds, I wish pieces that big were 5-10 dollars here in Saint Louis. You must have a LFS that is getting some deals from their suppliers. Pieces like that could sell easily sell for more IMO.

that is what i thought...i also got three other rocks of thos palys just got to go pick them up..they are the same size and same price

Great deal! My LFS loves to sell everything by the polyp, no matter what kind of zoa's they are. On another note I would FW dip the $5 red zoa's.

That $5 piece would have cost around $30 here. The rest of them would easily sell for $50--70.

Wish I could get palys that cheap. Nice deals and nice colors too.

for all your comments..and i really like all those i got...i fragged a few pieces of of some of them and really tried to get a nice piece of the little green zoas growing on a new rock...here is a pic i took today of the reds and the 2nd pic is a new paly i got the other day.in the pic it turned out green but it is really more of a yellow gold color..but looks really cool in the tank

I just purchased about 7 different kinds from 2 different reefers, so maybe I will be able to play soon...
