Thats a bit of an odd one. I'm gonna guess its a Caulerpa of some sort. A search through the pics on The Algae Page didnt reveal any close matches though.

It looks like Caulerpa, but it seems to have some kind of dichotomous branching which is pretty strange. Any idea of where it came from? It's probably a species of Caulerpa that just doesn't show up in the hobby in often and so none of us are familiar with it.

Whatever it is, it's very cute. I love it! If it gets out of hand and you need to prune it back, I'd love to get some.
It doesn't seem to be a Caribbean species, as I can't find it in my local ID keys.

I've been there and done that. Well, most of it. I didn't get the T-shirt, though. Kinda got ripped off there...
