Angry Burned corals

I just got my new 135rr up a couple of weeks ago and moved all of my corals into it. I installed a CSL 6x96wt retro kit. All of my corals were being kept under 6 96wt pc's in fixtures. My frogspawn and some other corals appear to be burned. The flesh is receeding and they look like crap. I have been running only 2 bulbs at a time after the first 2 days at full power. Will these corals come back from being burned?? Do the ballasts that come with CSL retro kits push the bulbs that much more than the ballasts in fixtures?? Thanks in advance. Tony

Did you transfer the bulbs from your old setup? PCs lose intesity pretty quickly and not at a set rate. Some may wither faster than others. A possibility is that your old bulbs were ready to be changed and your new bulbs were putting out up to 50% more light than your old, used ones. This, of course, is only a possibility if you did not transfer the bulbs. Otherwise I would suspect change of placement or the ballast, like you said.
