I'm heading down there tomorrow morning. Hopefully it's not a zoo down there.

I was told they are making the place smaller, so it is time to renovate the old place. getting rid of the floor models and such might make that easier. They are putting up a wall and relocating the front entrance. So that a good thing right?

I just returned from there.
I was looking for a set of legs for a used jbj fixture I bought from OC CJ last weekend.
no luck.

not much in the way of selection of corals, but a few things here and there.
Nice big display tank and they had some various fish and inverts for sale.

yea, I just called looking for a 150W DE bulb and was told they had none.
Glad I called first rather than driving the 40+ miles.

Well I got there at 9:30.... waited until the doors opened at 10:55..... and left at 10:59.

50% off junk is still junk.

just called and asked for a 1/15 chiller. Their sale price was $300 for a jbj 1/15. I can get it at MD for $350. So much for their 50% off sale.

be careful of their prices... i bought the caribsea arm calcium reactor media... didn't check price cause i got good deals on other items... when i got home i checked the prices and it didn't add up. anwyays, needless to say... the only way was if they used the 70 that was tagged on the container... which seemed alittle much cause they marked 70 for this item on marine depot...

http://www.marinedepot.com/ps_ViewIt...a~vendor~.html

just make sure you know and check what you are buying... went back and all he said was 70 was the right price, so i asked for refund... other then that, i got a great deal on some food and bulbs...

sale is only on dry goods and some frozen foods they had left...

This sale is a joke. Went there today and the first thing the guy says is that only the dry goods are 50% off no live stock. There drygoods looked like they put all the good stuff in the backroom and left nothing but junk out for 50% off.

Depends on what you consider junk...................but there wasnt a lot to speak of

I picked up (3) 64 oz Tech M for $10 each.......................I didnt drive outta my way to get there, it was on the way home, so I'm not to bummed....

Did anybody ask about the ER 6-1's that were on the 50% side?..................if they honor those, they'll be less then $200

I didn't think it was a bad deal, I got there at 10:55 as they were opening, I bought 2 250w 14k hamiltons for 30.00 each and 2 250w radium bulbs for 34.00 each, there were a few tanks. from 90g to 125g for 350 to 457 and it included the tank, stand, canopy, only one of them had the built in over flow. it wasn't that bad, it wasn't great either.

I forgot one thing the nano's were all 50% off. I looked at the 12g and he told me it was half off of $ 179.00, so it would have been $ 80.00 there were about 4 of them I think, there were a couple of 28g also.
