Blasto melting

I have 3 different blastomussa in my tank and am having real problems with them. I keep losing polyps and now i have 1 good polyp on my reds and 5 on my greens. I have a couple of acans that are thriving and growing like mad. With the blasto's i have a new head generate then suddenly it just dies and melts. I have been feeding them to see if this makes a difference but it has not helped. I really dont want to lose the last polyp as its almost impossible to get blastos in the U.K. Does anyone have any suggestions on what i can do

Are you seeing any brown goo? It could be some kind of infection, you could try doing a dip with TMPCC (tropic marin pro coral cure)

Also, where do you have them placed in the tank? They can do alright in lower light, sometimes if moved too close to light too fast they can do this.

I have mine in the lower third of the tank. It does not expel it's Zooxanthellae (brown goo).

I think they are talking about brown jelly infection not spitting zooxanthellae. So what are the MG levels?

Try moving it to a shady area. These corals are collected deep and often grow sideways in no direct light what so ever
