Oh yeah, Georgia had a mighty schedule

Boise State 9-4
South Carolina 7-5
Louisiana Monroe 5-6
Miss State 3-8
Tennessee 5-6
Vanderbilt 5-6
Arkansas 4-7
Florida 9-3 LOST
Auburn 9-3 LOST
Kentucky 3-8
Ga Tech 7-5
LSU 11-2
W. Virginia 11-1 LOST

The only decent team they beat all year was LSU

I think that if Texas wins (hopefully they won't) they will remain number one. It's simply because they will feed on it and finish out their year undefeated. The same goes for Ohio State. I think this will be about the best game you see all year. The loser pretty much gets screwed out of the championship game. Even though they are probably the two best teams, someone has got to lose, and their spot will be filled by that 3rd best team.

OSU will still have to play Penn State. Texas has T Tech, Nebraska and Oklahoma. All three could be very good this year. I wouldn't be crowning the victor just yet.

OSU also has Iowa and Michigan Frankly, there isn't much difference in the level of difficulty between their schedules.

We will know in 2 weeks if Nebraska and Tennessee are for real or not.
You can not honestly think the sec is overated, can you?

Neither of the Michigans impress me so far. We will see. Iowa??? They beat up on Montana but the Griz have not lived up to their typical top of the 1AA heap form the last couple years. Hard to say.

Here is my prediction for the OSU/texas game

Great pain and plenty of whining for the losers. Maybe we need a 3 point Texas win in triple OT just to make things interesting

When you live at the top, you get used to having people whine and cry.

I could talk about the top enders in the SEC, but lets talk about the bottom enders since we're talkiing overall conference strength.

What other conference has so few patsies? We've got Vandy, Kentucky, and Mississippi all three of whom can out gun the likes of Oregan or the Arizonas.

Then look to the top 10 and see how consistently it's been dominated by SEC teams. Currently there are 3 SEC teams in the top 10 and 5 in the top 20. What other conference consistently makes up 25% or more of the top 10 and top 20?

Yep, USC is good enough to run with any of the SEC teams but one team doesn't make a conference and the BCS poll system penalizes you for taking on such weak schedules. (Dang I LOVE the BCS system and strength of schedule scoring.)

Vanderbilt. Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ole Miss and Miss State all had losing records last year. No Patsies, yeah right.

Your dreaming Mutt, dreaming!! LOL!

TN will loose 2 games this year. The 2 losses will come from either Florida, Georgia, or Alabama. Ainge is going to choke BIG TIME when he faces some SEC powers.

Pssshhhh....

Based on last years performances the ACC and big 10 could be nasty. Trying to read the tea leaves this early is crazy.
