Ok i jus got into saltwater tanks about two years ago im now working at beverlys pet center in hollywood florida the first year of my tank i was strictly predator im now getting into reef i have 2 sponges, a galexea, xenia and plenty of polyps. i have been running on crappy filtration and lighting speaking im only 17 and money is a big issue
i have put evry nickle and dime into this tank but now got into some money so money is not an issue i have a 60 gallon with (1 aqua clear 20) powerhead a cascade 700 and a emperer 400 hang onitz been doing just fine as far as biologicly but i still want better since im going to get into more expensive coral so if you can i need the best filtration and lighting i have a compact satalite definetly need more lighting ive been told hqi's are to much any ideas ???? i'll post pictures of my tank and all etc... when i figure out how
