Truthfully I wouldn't worry a whole bunch about feeding mushrooms. It is probably really hard. I think they may be filter feeders. I know when I over feed my fish with brine and stuff, my yumas and rics barely take in any of the food.

I am off of school for the day! Thank the lord for gold cards!

Thanks, how do I know if my mushroom is eating? Well I guess you can't really tell, I think food just foats right in their tube mouth in the center of shroom. My fish loved the Prime reef also.

i am going to take pictures today, when i put the rock in, during curing, and the progress of the tank, but i dont want to post pictures of a bare tank for a month, so ill start posting pictures a little later. btw, its a 90 gallon with 20 gallon sump. (1) 250W MH in the center, but i need to move the center brace. im not sure what im going to do because it seems to be attached pretty firmly to the lip. is there any way to remove it entirely from the lip? can i eurobrace it now? btw, there is no water right now, so i can do anything to it. i was also thinking of having a welder make two braces on the centers of either side. im not sure exactly what im gonna do, because i dont want the center brace cracking.

Cool, can't wait.

Guys,

I just picked up a few more live-stock for my tank, Skunk Sc. Cleaner Shrimp, Peppermint Shrimp and a FireFish GOBY RED. here take a look.

Well, I just found out that an freaking hitch-hiker is on my rock. Very bad . It's them stupid Aiptesa that hitch an ride from my new mushroom live rocks. I don't really know what to do so I bought an peppermint shrimp to see if it will eat it. I hope SO... What else can I do? LOST. The thing is, it's on the same rock as my mushroom is... So makes it harder to deal with...

You can squirt in some Joe's Juice to kill the aptasia or get a copperband butterfly for a day or 2 and eat it.

I said for a day or 2. Just for him to eat the aptasia. If he were able to get a small one (2 inches) and try him out for a day or two, then what would be the problem?

Didn't Mike do something like that?

Copperbands really aren't all that reliable when it comes to eating aiptasia, not to mention their dire survival rates. Joe's juice is the best bet.

Take out the infected LR and treat it in a separate tank/bucket (the aptasia zapping takes only a few mins to work).

First order is free shipping.
