I heard those guys are very beneficial sand stirrers. I think you can buy them from indo-pacific. why kill them?

Yes, they seem to be very beneficial.
I used to have a ton of them until I got a copperband butterfly.
He wiped out all of the spaghetti worms, tubeworms and aptasia in record time.
I also had a colony of little brown hydroids that have been picked clean. I haven't seen the CBB eat them but they disappeared the same time as the others.

Awesome pics and remixes! I have a bunch of those in my refugium, but they are a thousand times smaller than that monster! What are you going to do with it? Its so huge!

Oh , it is back in the sand now! I have no desire to get rid of it or it's buddies.
Actually, if you can get over the initial shock, the coloring and markings are kinda beautiful (in a weird sort of way).

The photos might be a little misleading. Its body is only 1.5 to 2 inches tops.

Why would you want to get rid of it? They are very beneficial. Inland Aquatics sells them, and they aren't cheap either.........

They eat left over food, poo in the sand and over all good sign of a healthy tank...bristle worms are also beneficial. Eating old food and braking down dead animals. Both just get a bad name . 99.5 % of all the worms are good for a tank.
