Well, I miscalculated my stand height and i cant fit the skimmer in the stand going to have sell this skimmer and get a shorter one

Whew. That's an awesome skimmer for that price. I know that my friend in the club has a DAS EX-1 RC skimmer, and the thing skims a wicked ammount of skimmate as is. I'm almost tempted to get this, but just can't ever settle on anything with smaller than 8" body Also doesn't fit heightwise.

JMan, What gallon aquarium is it rated for?

It's rated for up to a 250gallon tank ....the flow rate through the skimmer is around 250 gallons per hour .... I wouldn't put it on a 250g tank though since i like to skim heavy. The 2 pumps it has on it are the AquaBee 2001/1 pumps which are really good pumps.

This really is an awesome skimmer that will kick some of those huge name brand, $1,000 skimmers out of the water.
