Tunze 6080

My supplier was out of the 6060, so I went with the 6080. Will this be too much for a 18x24x48 90 gallon aquarium. The only other flow will be the return from the sump, 700/ghp

I dont feel that it will. A freind of mine has a 65g with a similar return, he has a 6060 and is planning on getting a second one. There is also a thread of a guy who has a 120g with 2 6060's and a vortech. He is currently pushing about 5400 gph.

you can turn it down. I personally would put it on a wavysea+ in the middle of the tank and have it doing a 180.

Hello
I am using a 6080 in a 64" long aquarium and it's working out good. Move's the sand around a little, but the fish seem to like it!
