Is stainless steel ok for marine aquariums?

thanks, long story short I need to better secure my plastic vinyl hoses to my pumps internally in wet dry sump and was going to try and use stainless steel screw brackets but did not want to poison my fish inadvertantly in the process whereas stainless steel metal would poison my fish, i know stailness steel wont rust but may somehow release metallic properties into my tank, so thanks for listening
