I. D. help ?

the milton mini reef received these as green chromises I was looking for some schooling fish that were a little different so I bought all five of them but I can't figure out what they are.


any help would be appreciated.

Anthias are often misidentified as Chromis. I can (sort of) understand that mistake.
I don't know how they confused the color, though!

I thought they were anthias but I can't find a pic of what kind they are. They have been in my tank since sunday night. they hide in the rocks most of the time right now I am hoping they will start cruising the tank soon.

You need to make sure they're eating or they won't last long. Are any other fishes bothering them?
www.fishbase.org has a bunch of Anthias species pictured.
I can't tell what they might be from that pic.
dispar is my first guess...

They were eating at MMR My coral beauty is bothering them a little but I don't think that will end up a problem.

I think you are correct on the I.D. Gary thats what they look like.

seen something similar to those at caribbean forest a while ago.they were labeled as pink chromis.maybe brian will see this and have an idea

If they're anthias you'll probably have to feed them several times a day to keep em alive. Good luck with em. If they are actually "pink chromis" then I want some!
