Thanx, that and the basement is what sold me the house.

I am probably one of the few people that have a basement in Central Florida.

OMG TYRYFIN - your room is amazing! I'm definitely going to show the pics to my wife before the architect finishes the plans.

Steve - the new house is on a golf course - so we have to park the cars in the garage. If you have some time would you send me a PM with how you set up your rig? It looks like everything I need to do for our new house. I'm thinking I could enclose the gear in a wall unit in the garage. Then I'd have less to worry about. Plus I'd be all set to upgrade our 90 to a 180/240 when I get some cash. The new house has pretty much put a halt on my reefing....

Thanks,

Fuzz

Hey Bobby,

I love the overhead fuge tank - great Idea. Especially the Seahorses. We have our ponies in a 25 tall - they will be getting a 56 tall when we move. Has the grape caulerpa given you any trouble going sexual? We had a problem with ours so I yanked it and went with only prolifera and red graciliaria.

Hey Bobby,
When some types of caulerpa reproduce they start to turn white and release a cloud of nasty white gunk that wreaks havoc with the tank. Halmaeda is the worst for it - really messed up our Seahorse tank when we were total newbies. I had to do a 50% water change to save the ponies.........

Brian - your apartment looks like a palace compared to what I had in college - at least you have real furniture and a nice looking tank!

Gosh, thats beautiful with the light in the room out, can I ask what you feed the sea horses? I have them also, wild caught unfortunatly, lost the daddy that had fry. Trying to get them to eat frozen mysis and 2 of the 3 horses that I have are eating that now. They are in a 20 gallon full of pods, bristle worms and lots of Algae, here is it.

Nice Brian Slot, I wish I was a student! Where can I get a copy of EUROMAN magazine, maybe that is the secret! Nice job on all that furniture too.

I need to take a pic of my room right now. I just pulled the 150 apart and it looks like there was a hurricane in there. Finally I got the tank perfectly level and added a big sump. I can start working to finish the room. I have a bunch of island souveniers and tropical plants to add to give it an ocean look. Right now it looks like the Jersey shore w/o the bodies!! (no offence meant).

finding nemo

no they don't have any problems, acutally it is kind of funny watching them eat, how they glide up to them and then pow you can't even see them grabbing and swallowing them they move so quick

here is one that is funny crab getting a free ride,

and grab a margaritta or corona and kick back

you can see how the bottom tank bows out in this one

this is another tank we have in the study, we keep a bamboo shark and sohal tank and eel in this one.
