dart or snapper?

which is a quieter pump? all else being equal, is there anything else out there that can compare?

Never had a snapper but my Dart is very quiet.

I've been told that the Snapper is very quiet as well. I'm installing one this weekend. I'll let you know. It'll replace two Mag 9.5 and a Mag 7. Half the wattage (Read: less heat) and should be quieter to boot.

Aren't they the same pump/motor with a different impeller?

If so they should be the same, pretty dam quiet

they use the same motor, but since the snapper outputs less it might be slightly quieter.

I run two snappers very quiet, they use the same motor and casing, different impellers, both are great pumps!!
