Thanks for all the help. You have helped me save time and money and my reef would not be as nice as it is today if it were not for you. You will be missed.

Thanks for all of your advice,
Steve

Thanks for all the efforts you've made over the years. Good luck with whatever you decide to do (though I'll admit that I sort of hope you tire of it and end up back here).

I am so sorry to see you go Randy.

I do hope that you find success in any and all projects that you take on and I want you to know that you were the only person that I ever considered an expert forum moderator.

Best wishes and please keep in touch.

Thank You Mr. Holmes!

We have long enjoyed the warm glow of your technical and analytical wisdom. With your help we have come to understand the chemical mysteries of reef keeping. I have often marveled at the endless hours you have spent answering each and every one of our often repetitive questions with an even handed, friendly and professional response.

I do hope you continue to update your now famous 3 part recipe, from time to time, and write the occasional insightful article for us to read. And by all means do enjoy the well deserved free time with Family, Friends and Tanks.

Mr. Holmes,
We Have Presumed Upon You Long Enough.
Thank You for Your Gracious Help

First and last post in your forum, doesn't mean I didn't do a hell of a lot of reading.

Thank you!

I learned a ton

Randy,

I have been a silent reader for a few months now. I have read alot of your posts and although my chemistry is not where I want it just yet, it is getting there because of you.

Thank you very much.

Randy, many moons ago, when I first got into the hobby, you purchased a rbta clone from me (my first, and before they were such common place). I thought that was pretty cool, a mod buying something from me. Anyway, thanks for the thousands of informative posts.

Take care, Chris

Randy, I don't think I can say anything that hasn't been said.

From a small-time question asker and long-time reader, thanks for everything you've done to help myself and the hobby. Hopefully we'll see you around!

As someone put it about 4 pages back:

>You've been single handedly one of the largest assets to the hobby.<

Agreed. If you need help with any large tank projects let me know.

Good luck in what ever you take on now and in the future!
Like SO many hobbyists, I have found that your help has been the single most positive aspect of all the years I've been in the hobby.
Your help has been tremendously informative and interesting to say the least.
There is no one I would miss more in the hobby.
I don't know how RC will be able to handle a thread of the size this thread has the potential for.
I hope you would still continue to advise through the online magazine articles, and as someone else mentioned, through writing a book of all the information you have stored over the years.

You have taught me a GREAT deal my friend. I said it once a few years ago and I'll say it again.......PLEASE WRITE A BOOK!!!!!

Your articles have been insanely helpful and this hobby really needs a good chemistry text.
