Thank you, Randy. You arrticles, insight, and your two-part reciepie really helped me out over the years. You are able to put into understandable terms things that textbooks lose me on. Sad to see you go ,but I can understand as I had to step back from moderating a car forum recently. You will be missed and your knowledge will remain burned into out minds. Thank you for everything.

Thank You Randy!
So many reefers have learned so much from you. Without you and your legacy of articles, my time so far in this hobby wouldn't have been the same.
Best of luck in your future!

Hey Randy, thanks for the years of support and great information. I know you will use your time well to benefit others like you have here on reefcentral. You will leave behind a wealth of information for the beginners as well as the "experienced". I know you won't be able to stay away completely though . Either way, take care and enjoy!!.

Dr. Holmes-Farley,

May the road rise to meet you, and may the wind be at your back.
Your absence will be conspicuous.

Dr. Holmes-Farley,

While I have never posted on this forum, I have enjoyed reading your articles and the threads in which you have participated. Thank you for bringing an analytical, logical, and thoroughly scientific method to this hobby. As a returning reef enthusiast who had taken 20 years off from the hobby, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the hobby has left the alchemy stage, due in no small part to your own efforts. Thank you again, and best wishes for your future endeavours.

Randy, thank you, personally, for rescuing me from my own wrong-headedness---I'm chemically dyslexic, and often 'adjust' things in inappropriate directions.
Seriously, you've been a tremendous asset to the forum. As somebody said, don't be a stranger.

A book sounds like a great solution to me. You may as well be recognized on a higher level for all your work.

Randy, I am a newbie to the hobby and to RC, I frequent this forum on a regular basis to learn from the answers you give to others(and a few from myself) and was just thinking how much time you must devote to this forum and that must be somewhat of a burden to yourself. Also how much this forum has helped me.

I was very saddened when I came across this post, you have been the reason I feel my tank has been successfull.

Wish you the best in whatever you decide to do.
Thank you very,very much. Chris
