Serious response....

If you ever coach soccer, you will be smart to beg for 2 or 3 ADD kids on your team. They freaking ROCK at halfback/ sweeper and everyone else hates the position because it requires you to run the entire game.

ADD kids are a challenge as you have to constantly keep them engaged on an active assignment. When they are stationary, they HAVE to know that something active is coming and be reminded that their activity is waiting for it to come.

That said, that energy is a GREAT asset for the coach or teacher who can find innovative ways to put it to work. It will be constructive or destructive, but it won't go away.

That may be an asset for the coach but not for a parent. My daughter is very challenging at 13 and keeps me on my toes, but I definately wouldn't trade her for anything in the world.

Now, her father might be a different story
