Anyone and Everyone; I need some help this weekend in Monrovia
If you have nothing to do this weekend please feel free to swing by and help a fellow broke reefer out, even if its only for a few hours it would help me out alot.

I could probably come saturday morning for 2-3 hours if you need help, i helped my dad renovate his house did tile in kitchen/bathroom painted whole house did Doors crap like that if your Painting ill be some help. PM ill give you my info!

Seriously, I'll try to come by but not sure how much help I can be. I screwed up my back a little while ago and it's never been the same.

Roxy, if you come by, it will draw others to want to come by too, that all by itself is a big help...
BTW: The house is a cool house, I bet there will be some wild times there come party time... Gabe, I will be there of course, also let me know if you are going to be there friday, or if you want me to meet the dumpster people, or whatever so you dont have to drive out for that... Bill Also, did you make a list??? any list, come on now... Maybe just get a board or drywall or something and nail it to the wall, and make your list right there, so you can look at it and reference anytime you are there... I am not a big time organizer, but you seem to have a bunch of stuff, and the only thing I can think of to help you best is to make the list, and prioritize the items on that list depending on who, what, when and all that good stuf... And next time, dont forget the jump suit, maybe the elvis one, you know, the one when he was fat??? |

GAbe, if you ahve volunteers, there is work for anyone!!!!
There is stuff to be prepped for painting... so if you like to scrape, or sand, GAbe has the doors and trim... If you cant do anything, you can clean... clean windows, clean bathtubs, toilets, (sorry, it is part and parcel of the project), but it all needs to be done... Floors that need to be swept, mopped and cleaned, etc... The outside of the house needs to be power washed or at least Hosed down witha power nozzle... There is some minor carpentry work to rip some plywood into some 18" strips for walkways in the attic space... If you like landscaping, there are bushes to be cut back, and trimmed... There is a junk old motor that needs to be put into a dumpster... There is a bunch of junk and debris that needs to be carried to dumpsters... So there is tons of work, and tons of help would probably be apprecited, but final word comes from Gabe... If you have tools, let Gabe Know, if you dont, let Gabe know, so he can arrange to have them there... I have some tools, some portable table saw, chop saws, some pnuematic tools and compressor and stuff... But let Gabe know, or post on the forum here what you can do, what you want to do, what you can bring, and even if it is to gopher, or to bbq lunch, or run HD, (which is about two miles away)... Gabe needs bodies, and they dont have to look like Kim Kardashian... btw, I saw her on one of the TV shows for some awards show, and the host made acomment about being able to stand on her butt, (while she was standing)... and they showed a profile shot of her, and talk about BOOTY.... omg... Anyways, Rox, I am sure if you came out and saw some wall space that you can use as a canvass, you can come up with some ideas, and maybe pre plan to finish it at a later date after teh base work and prep work and first base coat is applied... Anwyas, just my being bossy, and control freak, it all comes back to GABE!!!! |

well I am a great gardener so if you need some plants to be planted I can do that also. I can tell you what plants are easy and great.

i cannt come this weekend but i would be more then happy to come by friday night with a few reefer friends to unload a few cases of toilet paper to welcome you to your new home=)

and if he cant be there to meet you, I only live a few blocks and can grab them for you, (of course I will ahve to snag a few rolls for myself, since we already know I AM full of it) Or I can meet part way too to save some time off the drive, or can meet you at the meeting... you are going right?? |
