That's a great looking Boxer & the frogs are amazing! I would love to try some sometime but the food thing is hard enough with just the chameleon.

2 American Eskimo dogs. Not Huskies, AE's are small and pure white.

Used to have a Harlequin Macaw (Blue and Gold x Scarlet hybrid) but had to give up for adoption...large parrots need huge amounts of attention and live for 75 years.

And my 30 reef.

Actually Frizz, they are really pretty easy. you can culture your own flies, but I didnt want to mess with it. Some pet shops carry the fruit flies, but its all about getting the tank set up right to keep in the right ammount of humidity with the proper ventelation. I miss my guys but was too far to drive from my house to get flies. Plus at $20 a week for food it can get pricey when you add up a year paying for flies LOL.

I thought that fruit flies were too large? Am I thinking about baby frogs? What else do you feed them? Surely fruit flies alone are an imbalanced diet.

What happens frizz is that your feeder food, in HC case is fruit flies, and in my case crickets, get gutloaded, which is the process of feeding your feeder food, with really heatlthy stuff before it gets fed to your animal. Like in my case, I get crickets and feed them alot of calcium and give them "cricket quench" which is a product that has alot of good stuff in it, and when the crickets get eaten the anole (my pet) gets all the nutritents from the cricket.

Hey HC do you have any pics of your old frog set up?

I fed fruit flies mainly, they are very tiny. Drosophilia Heydi (cant remember how to spell it lol) are bigger and D. Melongaster are the TINY ones. You should be feeding these to your chamelion he would LOVE them. They are flightless so they dont end up all over your house. I also fed 1 week old crickets rarely when I could find them. The flies are dusted with a bunch of diffrent powders for suppliments. The frogs I had were about 1-3 inches full grown depending on species. There are MUCH smaller darts called thumbnails, they get the small fruit flies also. There ARE other foods, springtails, and small grub like worms that can be used but they are kinda hard to find. I loves my design on my tank, it was as fun as aquascaping a reef. I will put up a pic of the tank later when I am home.

You asked for it, theres a 4' iguana named Diego in there the habitat is 6' X 4' X 2' hand painted mural of a jungle scene on the back grape vine matrix in the top and a real live giant caladium in the bottom( sometimes subbed out for large potted ficuses(sp)
The lizard is no longer with us, in addition I would not recommend green iguanas for pets to anyone. I think they should be left in the wild, my $.02.

/\ WOW Schweet! Wow! Yea I'm not too fond of iguanas myself only if I had like a huge habitat, like wayy bigger than a green house, where I could have my own ecosystem. That is sooo cool!

Wow, I think that your basic green iguana is next to a snake the easiest herp that you could have. I have had a number of them through the years. Our current iggy has been with us for nearly 20 yrs.
