Gauging interest in a Honda Generator GROUP BUY

Honda of Glendale is willing to give us a price break on generators...

there is no commitment to buy.. but the more interest the better the price..

I will not be handeling any money.. everyone will pay direct to the store.

I am personally looking into getting an EG 3500 MSRP is $1390.95 he quoted me a nongroup price of $1099.00 and of course i save more because i dont have to pay for shipping

there will be no shipping to your homes all units must be picked up at their location

This buy is for any Honda Generators only.... ( honda's are the quiestest and most reliable)

here is a list of what they can get...

I have the Honda eu2000is and it is awesome. Reliable, lightweight/portable, sips gas, extremely easy to start, and most importantly is QUIET.

It easily handles running all three of my tanks' pumps and skimmers, some lights for the house, and some appliances. Honda's, allbeit a bit pricey, are definitely a good choice and worth the extra $
Best money I've spent on peace of mind for my tanks and general home use in case of emergency or disaster.

I think my neighbor might have 2 smaller honda's we used for work if anyone is interested.

I know off the bat one is a Honda 1.8HP with inverter which I think is around 800-1000w. I will check later on tonight though.

And the other is alot smaller, it was usually used to power up lights when we worked at night.

The other

FYI all generators that have an i at the end are " intelligent" they produce clean power at standard rates.. ie there are no peaks or lows when delivering power.. this is ideal for MH lights, computers etc that can be damaged by flunctuating power currents

i dont see any better deals for a new EU3000is generators on Ebay... there is no "BUY IT NOW" prices listed that can beat what Glendale honda is giving us...

if you can find a better price (shipping included) from any store that can sell more than 1 new generator let me know...

LOL....................I paid $300 2 years ago for my 3500 watt generator..............Ya it's not a Honda & it's not as quiet as a Honda, but it don't blink when I cut a 4" x 4" w/ a 12" Dewalt miter saw.......& it's always started on the first pull.......

I think I'll pass on this one..............

the company i work for carries a small line of generators. i know honda are popular ones. i can talk to my boss on monday to see if we can get pricing. i'm sure if possible we'd be able to compete on pricing as well. but let me talk to him on monday before i go into more detail, for all i know we might not have a supplier.
