Help, DIY forum won't answer...

can anyone help me out with plans or a website that will help me out with making my own air driven skimmer for a 10 gallon aquarium. I've had my post in DIY for two days and no one has answered. PLease HELP!!!!

Sounds like your looking to go as cheap as possible you can probably buy one of these cheaper than you can make one (less than $29.00, and comes with a pump).

I don't know if you are a member at nanoreef.com but somebody posted pics of his "10 cent skimmer". You should be able to figure out how to make it from the thread. Here it is.

The visi-jet skimmer isn't worth the plastic it's made from (unless i'm mistaken thats a visi-jet in the pic). I've tried em before and they *really* suck...wouldn't even do a 20g.

Aggggghhhhh - don't buy that one. I had one when I set up my first FO tank and it absolutely stunk. You have to adjust it about 15 times a day to either:

A. Make foam at all.
B. Stop it from filling the skim cup every 5 minutes with clear water.

Note that i did say Sounds like he was looking to go as cheap as possible I didn't say it worked well. LOL
