WTB 48" light fixture

Hi Everyone. I have a friend that is looking for lighting for his 55 gal tank. It can be a hood or retro. Preferably PC. He doesn't want to spend a lot of money so I told him I would ask around. Let me know what you have and how much. Thank you.

Sorry, they're a local business for us and most of us around here have heard far too many stories to sip on that Kopl Aid ever again

Do a RC search for them in the Vendors section, you'll get my drift.

Well Gresham, I happen to love aquatraders for those nice little $6 magnetic scrapers, a little bit of superglue and they make quite a nice suctioncup less magnetic mount for powerheads

I would never buy anything from aquatraders. They live up to their name. They used to sell wholesale. All of the stores banned them when they decided to sell retail at the same time. Then they moved to like three different places and changed their name a bunch of times. Anyone remember aquarama, aqua123, etc... They obviously don't care about the hobby. Look at the products they sell and the animals they sell. I don't like to buy from places that hurt the hobby.

I'm with Matt. You choose who you support with your $$$$. They won't ever get any $$$ of mine.

Matt. I have a coralife fixture that will fit a 55 gal I think.
4x65 watt I think. I just bought (2) bulbs from natural life for it. Will sell it for the cost of the bulbs, well Natural Life's cost.... Buy (2) bulbs, get 2 bulbs and a fixture free. $100.

The bulb combo is (2) 10k, (1) 50/50 and (1) actinic. They don't match because they gave me the wrong bulb and I am to lazy to drive back. Still a good deal I think.

Actually I think my friend will probably be interested in that one. I'll see what he says.
