just tested mine today and got two different readings from my tap. 73 and 115.............. tested it again right now and got 158. this thing is all over the place!! for 72 cents how can i complain but then again, seems like a waste.

Any TDS meter is far from absolute as tubidity is not perfectly distributed thoughout any water sample.

When I send crews in to the field for groundwater sampling, even the uber-expensive models we rent vary from moment to moment.

got mine on Friday....its ok...kinda reads all over the map though.....(i think its got to do with the water temp).....

hong_asc just tested in the lab. with ultra pure water it reads 0. with calibation solution, i forgot the numbers, bug it does not read correctly and never be the same. i think it a waste, so don't worry if you didn't get one

I'm wondering about the "Q.C. passed" sticker on it tho.

i got one and my ro water that has a tds meter on it read 16, with this .72 meter it read 220.. my tap water read 560....
not accurate...

old saying goes....you get what you pay for..

f/s digital tds meter .60 obo j/k.... i already threw it away...
