best test kit for calcium

my pinpoint calcium monitor stopped working.So I am going to have to go back to test kits.Whats the best for testing calcium

There are lots of opinions on test kits. I have used Salifert and SeaTest, and they gave the same results. The Salifert is easier to use, in my opinion. The API test kits also get good reviews, on average. Hach and LaMotte make some very good kits, if a bit expensive.

for a more precise number i go salifert. if i'm in a hurry i go API

I used the API before, now I use the salifert alot more accurate IMO

The API is just as accurate as the Salifert.

The difference is Salifert will get you an exact number. API will get you within 20 ppm or so.
