First ever TAAC meeting!

Hello everyone!
I just wanted to let you know about the first TAAC (Tucson Area Aquaria Club) meeting! It is Sept 22nd at Bookmans on Speedway. I thought this would be a good idea because the swap takes place before this, as we are NOT allowed to sell/trade stuff at their store. I hope to have a few presenters there too! If there is anything you would like to be covered at the meeting please let me know here or by emailing me (which you can do at the site) also if you would like to help, by presenting, or just in prep. let me know!

What time is the meeting?

Personally I don't know if you will get much of a response from the group, as one of the main focuses is to trade and sell their corals.

I think I can make it, but will know more when the date gets closer.

the room is booked from 9-11 but we can run shorter if needed.
I know I just wanted to start geting everyone together, it is very hard to find a place that will host us for free and let us trade/sell stuff.

I thought you just said in your first post that we are not able to trade or sell there.
Can you clear this up?

yea we are not allowed to sell/trade at bookmans so that is to be considered our "temp" location untill I find a place that can host us.

Kentanner lets try to shift the efforts of this first meet to coincide with the meet at TCB. I believe we are shooting for the 16th now as Sundays seem to be better for meets there.

The meeting is still on, still unlucky finding a speaker, but have a rain check on a really cool, "field trip"

Colerphon- what is TCB? And the room has already been booked, so I can not change this date, and who ever shows up, shows up. Maps (and other things) can be found at: www.geocitites.com/tucsonaqua (Yahoo has been having issues, but I hope to get in and update frequently with info.

What I meant was holding this TAAC meeting at our frag swap that is going to be on the 16th of Sept. We moved this date from the 15th so we can book at TCB = Thunder Canyon Brewery.
