XM 20k bulbs, anybody have pictures?

I am thinking of upgrading my bulbs to 20k XM's. Anybody have any pictures of their tanks, corals, etc?

i dont have pics but i can explain in short version. they are deep blue, and its hard to se alot of rock structure and some corals. i went from a 10K to 20K and then to a 14K, and stayed with the 14K. have Happy New Year!

i would only recommend xm 20k if you are running 400w magnetics.

ive run xm20k and xm10 250w with pc actinic and i found the colors are better under 20k but growth was minimal and the tank was not bright at all, a very subdued lighting like you are deep in the ocean. i like the 10k much more with actinic supplementation. everything is much brighter and i find that i can get colors that are almost as good if not better when all my parms are in check

I have an XM 20K at 250 watts ... and it's color is nice but if you plan on growing SPS it's painfully slow apparantly.

i currently have a 400w 20k xm and a 10k reeflux. i am going to replace the 20k with another 10k. they are too blue and i have noticed the colors tend to lighten up a bit over time. my orange caop turned pink! i was not impressed! i say if you want blue go with a 14k. stay away from the 20k. IMO.

The XM 20K 250W and 400W are totally different looking. In my book the 250W bulbs are very blue. I run the 400W on a mag ballast and the color is perfect whitish blue in my book. The PAR is like 128PPFD so the growth is good too.

They also have a good sized purple spike too I don't run actinics with them.

depends on ballast how blue it turns out, but it's a good bulb.
