wounded coral beauty
i have had my coral beauty angel for about 3 days now and its doing great. but the first day i got, when putting it in my tank, i noticed that on the fin where it connects with the body it was white. the other side is purple. when he swims, he only uses the left fin and not his right fin. what should i do to help him? he is eating very well but have not started eating algae and seaweed sheets yet. sorry i cannot get a good picture of him. he is too fast for the camera

He was probably damaged by the net. Presuming you are able to maintain pristine water quality, chances are it will heal on its own. However, if the condition worsens or fails to improve within a week or so, you should move him to a treatment tank and using an antibiotic (good choices are Maracyn-Two or nitrofurazone; for serious infections a double dose is recommended for either one).

I had the same problem with my CB, only it was not net damage, it was some kind of disease. I QT'd him, and treated him, but no luck, he didnt make it. I hope you have better luck though!
