I worked in a shop for 5 years that had one in its FOWLR. As best as we can tell, the fish was 24-25 years old when she finally died (we got her as an adult, and had her for about 20 years, so guesstimating).

Highly aggressive fish as an adult. Very pretty animal, and exceptionally hardy, but an adult annularis will run the tank. Ours took out tanks, lions, triggers, large wrasses- very selective in who was allowed to stay.

They also go fairly large, and are active fish. 125 will probably be alright, but I would really suggest 200g+ to be fair to the fish.
