Xenia FS or trade
the title says it all. i have about 20 xenia frags @ 1-2 stalks each mounted on Live Rock fragments. need to get rid of them before they spread like crazy. the mother colony is large enough. even after cutting away at it.
small frags are @ 3$ a piece. sorry i only have about 3 small ones currently medium frags (larger 1 stalk or 2 stalk) are @ 5-10$ a piece. they are all mounted on about 1-2" pieces of rock fragment. (i took a hammer to one ugly rock and broke it) i just mounted them yesterday, so some have attached already. the pics i posted on NR were taken like 15 mins after mounting so they look kinda bad. much better today. im also working on toadstools. oh and kenya tree frags are 3$ a piece. darn things dont stop growing. worst coral out there IMO. haha just kidding. i live about 30 minutes away from rochester 90 minutes from Syracuse and an hour from buffalo. __________________

Nothing wrong with mixing LPS and softies. Just run good quality carbon.

i guess so. the torch has split from 3 heads now to 6 in just 6 months. im happy (could be more like 8 months) and its not finished splitting (really only 4 full separations, the other 2 are inthe midst of).
now back on topic. XENIA ANYONE??

CF was not interested in any Xenias at this time (I asked them today), at least not pulsating Xenias of which I have many. Maybe MO or RS. Anybody know if either of them are interested? I forgot to swing by RS, and MO is the opposite side for me.

frankly, I'm getting tired of CF. after the guy ripped me off. 1/3 of retail. so he puts it at 12, so i get 4$ SC. then i go back a week later. its listed at 34$ so i should have gotten 10$ SC.

Yeah Xenia and Kenya are hard to get rid of because it grows so fast, LFS's see so much of it when people trim their colonies. Not to mention, if you know anybody that has it they will certainly give it to you for free just to get it out of their tank and not have to pay for it in most cases.... Selling it is kind of like selling snowballs to an Eskimo, or apples to an orchard grower, or... insert anecdote ______.

I was in CF a couple of months ago and they said they can never get enough of the stuff. They said it sells as fast as they can get it.

what else could i do with these excess corals then? too bad my green and pink hammer doesnt grow that fast
