RK2 users?

Hello all,
I am thinking about getting a Reef Keeper 2 controller, but I have a few questions for someone that is already running one. First and foremost is how is your Alkalinity fluctuations after you set it up and ran it for awhile? This would be the main reason for me to get this controller. I am experiencing a little STN lately due to Alk swings. Does this controller stop or at least make the Alk swings less? Also what can you run with this controller besides the PH in the calcium reactor IE the Alkalinity and your lighting timers? Thanks guys and Merry Christmas, Dan.

The controller does nothing to control alk swings, it controls lighting, powerheads, pumps, PH and anything else you want to plug in it

ALk swings are caused my inconsistent dosing or a calcium reactor that is not set correctly.

I realize that. But if this controller is hooked up to control the PH inside of the reactor, it may control the effluent out of the reactor and therefore the Alkalinity. All I am asking is someone using this to control there ph out of there reactor? Thanks.

If you are using a reactor, you can control the PH in the reactor with the reefkeeper, But you can not show the PH of your tank. It only dose one or the other, if it had two probes, it would be great, but then you are talking a price increase!!

I also run two reefkeeper II and love them, I have had some warranty issues and everything was taken care of.

I recommend these to anyone to monitor your basic need's of an aquarium.
