Anybody use one for a return or closed loop? Any thoughts?

I used it for a CL circuit for a 110tall tank. I used 1 1/2" plumbing and it worked great. If you search my profile, you will see my 110tall build thread and can see how it was plumbed. I would recommend using that pump.

I used it for a return pump too, but had it choked way down to about 1000gph. That pump is rated to be choked back with a ball valve. I ran it that way for about two years before running it full open as a CL pump. I did have to replace the seal twice, but not hard to do.

My AM 3600 leaked after one year of use. I don't know if they are known for this. Sequence dart maybe another option.

Go with the dart pump. My ampmaster 2100 seals have leaked at least 4 times in 2 years of use. I used the high dollar replacement seals also.
