Anyone who has the Aqua Medic Turboflotor 1000 skimmer? Is it a good skimmer? I looking around for a good skimmer for my 190 gallon tank

I am wondering the same question. I do not have $400 to spend on a skimmer. Also the Kent Nautlis.

Its a very good skimmer for up to 120G or so with a light to medium bio load. Probably not big enough for 190G though. You would need the 5000 or better yet a Euroreef or clone.

I ran one for a year on my 75. I thought it was a pretty good skimmer until I got my MR-2 and watched it skim overtime because of what the T1000 left behind. IMO it would not be big enough for a 190, but I like to skim heavy.
