I just noticed this on the ATL website for like $80. I think it may be a classic example of branding. Putting a fancy name on a coral and doubling the price. Fraggle Reef has frags available periodically. I got mine from them for $30. Since you are in Irvine, I would just head to their store to get it.

You can also get one from Reeftanksupply for $12. Not sure if they are a sponsor, but just google them and you'll find it.

I'm glad I got mine before we started calling it that. I can't get mine to green up either....I think it is just growing so fast that the green hasn't had time to catch up yet.

This digi has been out for a long time. I got mine as the ROAB digi. I was giving frags away. $80 thats ridiculous!

Photoshop + actinic lights + top down shots = working wonders just look at the photo of mine, from outside the tank, the green was only slightly visible on the tips.

actually, I was at atlantis last week and saw both. the one ming wei is calling the forest fire is in the tank when you first walk into the door. While similar to the ROAB it's definitely much brighter. I wish I had brought my camera with me cause this is one instant where the the criticism really is unwarranted.

I saw both and opted to get the forest fire as it's actually much brighter. The green on it is light green, almost lime as opposed to the dark olive seen in the ROAB

Oh I stand corrected. The one above is the ROAB one. I spoke with Ming wei and he said he was going naming the newer lime one the forest fire monti.

new ($80)

old ($60)

sorry about the confusion
