Live Aquaria

I received my first order from Live Aquaria yesterday. Everything was packaged excellent, some corals had 6 bags! Heat packs were still warm and the water temps were in the 70's, not bad at all.

I had one blue polyped encrusting Monti where the edges of the frag were bleached but the polyps are still blue. I think it came from rolling around inside the bag during delivery. I dont think it will be a problem, the color along the edges should come back eventually.

I would definitely order again though.

Heat Packs

Would you mind telling me how many heat packs they used and if they were loose in the container/wrapped in newspaper, etc.?
Also, how many corals were shipped?

I have been struggling with whether to put 2 or 3 well wrapped heat packs in to ship cross country (2 corals but one is a 7" colony). I don't want to cook them - but don't want them to get too cold either!!!

Thanks for any information on what LA did that seems to have worked out great (I love LA too by the way)!!!

The order shipped from two places.

One box was small from California, 12 x 8 x 8" it had one fish and some snails. They used one heat pack in what looks like a wax paper bag. That heat pack was thrown in the box between the two bags.

The other box was 18 x 10 x 10" from Wisconsin and had 4 SPS coral frags. It had three heat packs each also in the same type wax paper bag. This time they were taped to the inside of the cooler lid.
