WTT: My base rock for your Texas Holey rock

I have about 2or 3 of the 5-gallon buckets full of chunks of dead base rock. I have been keeping it in circulating freshwater and doing water changes after I broke down one of my tanks. I have a freshwater tanks that I want to add some larger chunks of Texas holey rock, the kind with big holes in it, not the little swiss cheese kind. PM with what you have

You have any friends in TX? Every home and garden store there has the stuff dirt cheap....I used to keep cichlids when I lived in TX and never appreciated the availability of holey rock there until I moved away.

good luck on this one, it's like gold in the cichlid world, I always wanted some but 3.50 lb was the best I could find. Kinda expensive when it doesn't act as your filter aswell. I have some red granite you can have for free if you want to make some caves.
