Question A few SpS questions.

Im at the point where id like to pick up a few nice SPS frags from my LFS and see how I do taking care of them. Any suggestions as to a few good options of easier to care for "beginner" sps. I dont really want anything encrusting. Ideally shorter bushy ones would be best as my tank is not very tall. Thanks in advance.

I would start with montipora digitatas, plating montiporas, birds nest, possibly some acropora millepora as well...

Squid, if you have a local reef club, that may be a better source... so many LFS keep their livestock in such bad conditions (they could kill a M cap!), it may be easier to start with something that's doing well. Not to mention the price...
