New to digital cameras and language used
Hello all,
Been doing the salty thing for about 10 years now and I am curious as to how to get some of these great closeup shots of these animals. I have a sony mvc-cd500 that does great studio work  but when I try to shoot my tank I get things like this..  I can tell that I don't have enough light on the above pic, and when I use the flash, the colors all become washed out and lifeless  So, any help would be great. I also know that I can add different lenses and filters to the camera too.

So what's the problem? Those shots look pretty good to me! Maybe try adjusting the white balance or exposure value if you are able to. But I think you got some really good shots.
BTW...the two little ones are very photogenic!

I would get a photoshop. I've been working on a thread about how to make a picture looks alot better by using photoshop:

ok, I guess the problem is that I would like to get some extreme closeups of the corals and livestock in my tank. I like those shots, but would like to get closer still...I've been reading and I think that I want macro shots?
