MJ120 and Loc-Line

Was wondering if anyone had ever hooked up a Loc-Line to a MJ1200 output in their tank.

I have a 46g bowfront with the MJ1200 powerhead in it, that I would like to put a Y on and split the flow.

Anyone seen or done this. Or know of a way to accomplish this without buying a lot of new equipment.

Thanks in advance. Have a great day.

I have used MJ1200's with Phosban reactors and to feed fuges, and my auto top off by just putting clear tubing on the output from the pump. I am sure you could hook loc-line to it as well.

Yeah the clear tubing goes right on it. Don't know the size though...maybe 1/2 inch.

Justy to clarify, 1/2 inch tubing on the MJ1200 outlet and on the inside of the Loc-Line Y-splitter?

I am not sure what size the tubing is exactly but I have tons of it if you want a piece.

Thanks Mike, I have some of it also. I use it on a powerhead to pump new saltwater into the tank during a change. I just didn't even think about that hose possibly fitting into the splitter. Logically it could. Just never crossed my mind. Sometimes the simplest things....

I would think 1/2 vinyl tubing on the MJ and then a 1/2" to barb nylon fitting to connect the vinyl to a 1/2" FPT loc-line adaptor. I can't think of any standard fittings that would give you a rigid connector between the loc-line and the powerhead.
