very nice. I started out with a toadstool about that size about a year and a half ago and now it is about a foot accross and hoasts my clowns

i cant wait tilll mine gets that big! im not even going to frag this one ever. im a mostly sps guy but ya no i like the movement u get with soft corals. lps to me look like they are fake becase of their extreme color but soft corals just look natural

i know how you feel. my tank has mainly become an sps tank but love the leather so much it will never leave and will never get fragged either.

here is a pic. of when I got it. this is in my 46 gal. you can kinda see it behind the kenya tree on the lower right side.

and here it is in my 75 gal.

wow! i love your last coral in the last pic, very beautiful. good job man, that pic is a keeper


Do you know alot about xenia?b/c i see yours is really healthy.if so, could you help me out with mine??any help is appreciated

actually my luck with xenia sucks. lol the stuff you see that may look like xenia are kenya tree's they grow way to fast and drop 10 babies a week. which is why I am switching out the rock.

but sorry I am not a good person to help with xenia. I could never keep it alive for some odd reason.

thankyou but i have a question for everyone u c in the 1st and 4th pic that little part on the stalk kinda pertruding out? what is that? im not worried at all or am gonna try n do n e thing but i was just wondering if anyone has an idea of what is might be? thatnks for the complements ill be posting a ton of pics tomorrow as my shipment of corals comes in im so excited!!!!!!!

wooohooo my corals came in i ordered a yellow fiji leather,singularia,green singularia,and a colt coral. the yellow fiji is already opened up and boy are those polyps pretty. the singularias and colt coral are kinda slumping over but im not worried. i will post pics when my camera is done charging

ill post some pics tomorrow if the corals are actually staning straight up instead of slouching. all there polyps are open just there not straight up probably due to shipping stress so im not worried about it. im going to my lfs tomorrow maybe i can pick up some nice rics

u got it chunky but idk if there gonna be high quality because my dad took the cannon rebel xt with his macro lense with him hunting today so ill have to use my moms cyber shot

Cool pics! Maybe that bump on your toadstool is gonna turn out to be a new head......

Although SOFTIES RULE, Brandon, do you have a pic of the Merulina just to the right of your toadstool? Looks like a nice one.
