Maroon clowns breeding!
My maroon clown pair just laid eggs and fertilized them right in front of us under the front of the carpet anemone. I thought she was looking a bit plump. She's spawned 5 times before, but always back behind the rocks so we could barely see. Caught the whole thing on video as well and that was very clear. Pics came out kind of blurry, but this is the young male, upside down, fertilizing the eggs (you can see the orange mass above him on the rock). Now I'll have to figure out if I can catch some and raise them.

Thanks, I'm not sure how to post the video...it is pretty awesome. If anyone can tell me what I have to do I'll try. It's a fairly large file, so I'd probably have to reduce it somehow.

Hi,
I've just achieved match a pair of maroons. I hope I'll be so lucky as you to see them breed. Good luck with it. |
