Are all BAR meetings held in the east bay?

Does bar ever hold their meetings in San Francisco/peninsula or are they all in the east bay?

Schedule BAR general meeting are the 2nd saturday of month starting in feb, april ,June,august ,oct and dec. All meeting held at ASAP in hayward.

All events are held at the same place., Hayward. The owners of the largest wholesaler in the area has allowed the free use of a very large room, something BAR is very thanfull and lucky to have

Sweet.....Hayward is not too far of a drive for me. So what exactly goes on at these monthly meetings?

Meetings are every other month on the second Saturday of the month. BOD meetings are held on the second Saturday of the months between. For example this Saturday (Jan 12th) is a BOD meeting.

We will have various speakers, DIY projects, frag swaps and miscellaneous other things.

There will usually be a sticky post at the top of this forum that lets you know general information about the meetings.

You can also check out www.bareefers.org for more information if you are interested in joining.

Most events are open to anyone but there will be some meetings and activities that are members only.

How do participate in a Bar Swap and how does the frag swap work? How many things are we supposed to frag?

Not yet but considering I would like to know the procedures of the bar swap. I heard from someone that you have to frag like a crazy amount of pieces or something?

Just two different coral frags is what it takes to get in, along with the other stuff listed above.
