NERAC III Power Buy - Carbon

Power Buy for Granulated Carbon

LIRA has arranged for a power buy of GC 4x6D virgin activated carbon. We will be selling it at NERAC III either at the raffle table area or the frag tank/registration booth. We will have prepackaged 5lbs and 10lbs.

The 5lbs will be $25.00
The 10lbs will be $40.00

For reference, the common consumer size is approx. 3lbs or 4L priced at $26-$35 plus shipping.

Please post if interested and how much. The more that is anticipated the lower the price can go down.

Granular activated carbon

I would like 10 lbs. but I won't be there until Sunday morning. What brand is that ? Is it phosphate free?

It is sold to large aquariums and the aquarium industry. I am told it is phosphate free.

Eric, I'm going to guess the product originally comes in big bags of about 50 lbs, if so, can you find out how mush for a big one ?

if we have leftover, we will sell it at the next mtg but I doubt it as it is going fast.

Just come to NERAC on sunday, it would be well worth it.

Well someone already bought a sack, 1 sold in increments. There is 1 left, we are looking into picking up another 1 or 2.

Well as of right now, all carbon has been accounted for. I am trying to have 2 more sacks shipped in. If anyone else is interested please post here. I can also try to get full sacks if people need that.

Hi,

I'm definitely interested. How much would it be for a sack?

Or I might just go for half a sack or at minimum 10lbs.

Since I'm coming from Canada, is that in Canadian Funds?

Let me know if there is some that can be reserved for me.

Thanks

Ron

Ron check with Eric (pyro383) first, but if he can't get you any, let me know before Saturday (got a hole sack) and I can take some to NERAC, I will make sure you will not go back to Canada without carbon.
Oh, once you cross back to the other side, you can convert your money it to any other currency you want, but when your here only US $

Octavio

Good News, I was able to order 5 more sacks

Bad News, well not bad for sales but 2 more were spoken for. 3 left so reserve quantities now.
