Roger Clemens on 60 Minutes

Who watched it last night?

Do you believe Clemens or his trainer?

Just heard where he filed a defamation lawsuit against ex-trainer.

I'm no expert but body language of Clemens seems to suggest he's not telling whole truth.

He couldn't look Mike Wallace in the eye after making his repeated denials of steroid use. I watched wanting to believe him, but the interview convinved me he is guilty.

Not to get political BUT - Doesn't congress have more important issues than talking to athletes about steroid use?

Also - I think he took steroids but why should I care? People talk about - it harms the purity of the game- hate to tell ya people but any athlete will do whatever he can to WIN, its always been that way and always will.

simply put - MLB and other proffesional sports shoudl have manditory drug tests every so often, if you fail then your out, no suspension - your simple out of the orginization for life and its done.

The players that may or may not have taken steroids up to this point should just be held to the new rule and not some witch hunt for past users.

ok off soap box

I had steroids injected into my back last year - guess I won't make it into the HOF.

That report really has no teeth. Those accused are now forced to fight the battle like Clemens did by going to the press. He and the other's are being accused of something baseball avoided talking about for years because it was good for the game.

Baseball has been my favorite sport since the 60's and these revelations wont change that. These problems just mirror what's going on in other areas of society but obviously the players and owners had/have a lot more to gain. Baseball or sports in general are not alone here.
