My wife pulled out the Javex today

I have a 5 inch peacock. He has an incredibly annoying habit of banging on the pvc pipe he lives in. So bad that my wife wants him gone. Any other ideas for burrows that are perhaps a bit softer?

try a large diameter PVC, or if you can make a pseudo rock cave, and give him a lbs or two or nice tonga LR rubble to play around with, I bet he can make a nice burrow with sand and rock that wont require as much plastic bashing (which is much louder from the echo than rock and stuff)
