Xbox 360 question.
Why is my Xbox so loud? It sounds like it's going to take flight. For some reason it's not as loud when it's playing a DVD. Any other gamers out there fix this annoying problem?

I say smuther it in a pillow -- is it any good? I wasnt too hyped about it after seeing the prices, but I was at the video store yesterday looking at the game boxes for splinter cell and OBLIVION and I def want to see those

Hmmm, my son's is kinda noisy but nothing that would be bothersome or annoying... he has music playing with his games so I doubt that he hears it, and he's got his headset on chatting most of the time tooo... Check out their website, or send them an email asking about it... HTH...
I know he absolutely loves it!!! TheBimbo...

i do not have the 360 yet- but i know w/ time both my other orig xboxs' got louder and louder- does it kinda whine?

Nobody has had awhole lot of time to quiet the 360s. The fan controller turns down the fans when its playing a DVD movie, as it doesnt need as much processing power and wont overheat.
www.silentpcreview.com should be coming out with an article about the 360, and ways to quiet it. |
