and.....critique

This is a 65G:

85lbs of Rock (30LR, 55BR)
100lbs sand (silicia)
1/10HP Chiller
CSS 125
20L sump (7g of that a fuge)
Closed Loop with Oceans motions wave maker (freakin AWESOME!)
6 T5's (4 actinics, 1 10K, 1 6.5K)
Return from sump is a mag7
Closed loop pump is a mag18.
So with head lost I am thinking 2200GPH.
JBJ ATO (works well once tuned)

Current inhabitants:
2 O' Clowns
1 Dragon Shifter Goby (or Coral Banded)
6 Turbos
9 Astrea
10 Hermits
2 Emeralds (I feed alot, so I needed a big clean up crew)
1 Kenya Tree
3 Shrooms (1 a very small frag)
Zoo's
2 rocks of GSP
Blastomussa Merleti with about 10 heads (started with 3 6months ago)

Just finished the hair algea bloom. Got some good pods growing in the fuge. Cheato is very slowly growing, but I think it will start kicking up real soon. Trites, Ammonia, Trates are 0.
Alk is 12 meg/L and Calc is 440ppm.

The only problem I am seeing is PH...its running at 8.6.

That one rock on the right (the big cave) is 20lbs and totally worth the money. As soon as I saw that rock it was mine! Its a great cave! The goby love its.

Thats all I can think of right now....what do ya'll think?

PS - Camera sucks...best pic I could get...its old 2.1 Megapixel

Looking good---of course you'll always find when you add coral, you have to move things a bit. Get a tube of IC-gel and another of Reef Putty and use the IC-gel to glue any frag that's lost its bond, and reef putty to create a soggy piece to moosh into a socket when bonding a coral base to one of those rocks. Get your test kits, [alk, cal, mg] and you're good to go---down the path either of stonies or softies: they don't mix well, but either can give you a great tank.

Yeah, I just moved my 6G into the aquarium this past weekend....I am going very slow. I am not new to the hobby, but I am new to the bigger ones. Alot harder and easier than a nano (its double edge sword).

But, yeah, I am going to be putting more in there soon. Picking up a frogspawn and some zoos in the next few weeks.

the tank looks great but if I can give you one bit of advice, I would create more space between the rocks, I say this because it would allow additional waterflow to control detris build up. most systems with tight rockwork has a chance of dead water area where nitrates, nitrites and annoying critters(cyano, majano, etc etc) will thrive and over take your system. I keep a 1.5 to 2 inch distance between the back of the tank and the rockwork so that water flow is more freely distributed. To me, waterflow is the key to balance out any reef system.

good job so far!
